Monday Inspiration Celebration: Let me show you ...

All in a day ...

An emotional ping pong game ...

She keeps me on the defensive ...

Things being neither good, nor bad but just what they are ...

Relaxing under the shady calm of creativity ...

But ready to flee danger in a moment's notice ...

The extremes are exhausting ...

But the moments of peace - like catching a glimpse of the full moon breaking through the clouds - are sublime ...

She empties and fills me on a daily basis and I wouldn't have it any other way.

This crazy, emotion and color filled life of mine scurries along ...

Encountering one glorious surprise after another ...

And we all come to end the day having earned our rest.

(Inspiring me immensely this day are these words which capture what I have struggled to say about myself, my journey, my practice and my art ... Soraya, you've nailed it! And in the process, you've stunned me into silence and that is a rare thing!)

  4. oh yeah....so *feelin'* this -- riding that rollercoaster right alongside you...*wheeeeeee! no hands!!*

you've captured it beautifully...especially the love...because it's looking at these crazy days through the lens of love that makes them crazy in the first place. Does that make sense? I think you'll know what i mean....because we love so fiercely, we are affected so deeply...but then we see the joy in it in the end and the fact that it's worth capturing and remembering and experiencing...

    rambly, ramblestein, i am....xo

  5. It is true that our kids are capable of making us feel everything possible in the extremes - all within five minutes. I'm not sure if it because of the sheer amount of time spent together or that we are so keenly aware of each others vulnerabilities or that we are figuring it all out as we go along. Either or any way, it can be emotionally exhausting some days. Love the BIG art!

  7. Every time you share in words or in photos you inspire me. I love the way you moved through the day - the emotional rollercoaster can be exhausting - but those moments of joy, of incredible art, of the sharing of love make it all worth it even as we collapse into bed....your dog is the cutest thing ever! Cowgirl is love...a big, squishy ball of love...and you as Mommy create the most amazing world for her and document it ...you are amazing

  8. Looks like a typical day in the life of so many moms. And people who haven't been there do not understand how we could be so exhausted at the end of the day. Hmph. Love her BIG art. I hope she never outgrows it.
